Dr. Daniel Sudhakar Emmanuel was born in Idayangudi to a godly family. He accepted the Lord in a prayer cell whilst studying at electrical engineering at the Thaigarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. He continued to involve in the Union of Evangelical Students in India (UESI) ministry in Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), Coimbatore. He married Margery and the Lord blessed them with two daughters Talitha and Jerusha. The idea of serving in the North as tentmakers was laid on their heart. In response they spent twenty five years as a family at Allahabad Agricultural Institute(AAI), Allahabad, UP where they involved in the Evangelical Union(EU) and the Evangelical Graduates Fellowship (EGF). God enabled them to establish an open Christian home - a refuge to students and graduates alike. The family moved to Vellore where he worked at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) university and involved in UESI-TN in various capacities. God brought John into Talitha's life and blessed them with two sons Timothy and Joshua. A man of integrity, simplicity and self discipline, he wholeheartedly supported the UESI ministry he owed much to and dearly loved. He loved reading, teaching and living the Bible. You are welcome to contribute to this blog with your testimonies and recollections to encourage us all in our walk with Jesus.
